The short version

No accounts, no analytics, no advertising. Your clients, pets, visits and photos live on your device and sync through your personal iCloud account, which we cannot read. The only thing that ever leaves your control is what you explicitly choose to share: report cards you send, and stay journals you publish.

Your working data

Clients, pets, care notes, visits, photos and reports are stored on your device. If your device is signed in to iCloud, they sync through your personal iCloud account so your own devices stay up to date. That storage belongs to you; NCOO DEV cannot access it.

Location

Your position is recorded only at the moment you start a visit, as proof of presence on your report cards. Tailcard never tracks you between visits and never uses location in the background.

Report cards you send

When you send a report card, it travels as a picture in your own text message or share action, from your phone to your client. We are not in that loop.

Stay journals you publish (Pro)

This is the one feature where data leaves your personal storage, and it only happens when you switch a stay's journal on. Published journal entries (visit times, activities, your note, your photos, pet first names and your business name) are stored in Tailcard's shared database hosted by Apple iCloud, so that the private link works in any browser. The link contains an unguessable code, the journal is never listed anywhere, and it expires shortly after the stay ends, after which the data is deleted. Switch the journal off and nothing is published.

Purchases

Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details.

What we collect

Nothing about you. If you write to support, we see your email address and use it only to answer you.
